Ben Roethlisberger and Andre Johnson are uncertainties for next week's games after sustaining injuries Sunday.
The Steelers quarterback was scheduled to undergo an MRI on his left foot after injuring it on Pittsburgh's final drive in a 17-10 loss to Houston. Roethlisberger remained in the game, but walked out of the locker room afterward on crutches with the foot in a protective boot.
Houston All-Pro wide receiver Andre Johnson is nursing an injured right hamstring and the team will seek other medical opinions.
Coach Gary Kubiak said Johnson will "miss some time," which he said could range from three to four days to a "few weeks."
Backup running back Ben Tate is day to day with a groin injury.
Other Pittsburgh problems were with defensive end Aaron Smith (foot) and running back Rashard Mendenhall (hamstring).
The Steelers host Tennessee next Sunday, and the Titans will be missing safety Chris Hope, who will need surgery on his broken left forearm and likely will be out four to six weeks.
Hope was hurt early in the win at Cleveland, his first start after missing two games with a shoulder he dislocated in the season opener.
Tight end Craig Stevens likely will be limited with a rib injury, and starting left guard Leroy Harris (left knee, ankle) also will be limited this week.
Jets linebacker Bryan Thomas is out for the season with a torn left Achilles tendon suffered in a loss to the Ravens. Linebacker Garrett McIntyre is day to day with a concussion.
Browns Pro Bowl center Alex Mack underwent surgery to have his appendix removed, one day after he felt sick but played all 87 snaps in Cleveland's loss to Tennessee.
Mack will spend one night at the Cleveland Clinic. The Browns don't know if Mack will be able to play in their next game, Oct. 16 against Oakland.
Cornerback Joe Haden sprained his left knee and coach Pat Shurmur said he expects Haden to "miss some time." Haden was wearing a knee brace at the team's facility.
Wide receiver/return specialist Josh Cribbs also sprained his knee, but Shurmur characterized the injury to the Browns' biggest playmaker as "slight."
Eagles DE Trent Cole has a right calf strain that coach Andy Reid called "fairly significant" and is day to day. Same with LT Jason Peters (hamstring strain).
The Eagles lost DT Antonio Dixon (torn triceps) and he will have surgery.
There was no update on Dolphins QB Chad Henne's left shoulder, which he banged up in a loss to San Diego.
"I'll be back faster than what people think," Henne said. "One thing is I'm tough, and things like this won't hinder me. I can rip this arm off, and as long as I can post the ball up, I think I can play. My left arm's not my worry."
Raiders tight end/fullback Richard Gordon has a broken hand and RB Michael Bush injured his ankle. Both players returned to the game and will be monitored this week, coach Hue Jackson said.
Seattle LB Matt McCoy has a right knee sprain and is expected to miss time, but coach Pete Carroll says surgery is not needed right now. WR Mike Williams had a concussion and will have to go through the league protocol this week before returning.
Green Bay receiver Donald Driver's left knee feels good ? he appeared to hurt it on Aaron Rodgers' second-quarter touchdown run in Sunday's victory over Denver, and was down in the end zone for several minutes. But Driver returned in the second half and caught a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
McCarthy says running back Ryan Grant has received medical clearance and is expected to return to practice Wednesday. Grant missed Sunday's game with a kidney bruise.
Cowboys safety Gerald Sensabaugh also has a concussion, but he tweeted Monday he was feeling "great." Coach Jason Garrett said he expects Sensabaugh to be OK.
The Giants can add a few injuries to their long list. Most noteworthy is a stinger suffered by center David Baas that forced him out, with Kevin Boothe taking over. Long snapper Zak DeOssie (back), DT Rocky Bernard (ribs), WR Brandon Stokley (quadriceps), and star DE Justin Tuck (neck, groin) also are hurting; Tuck didn't play in the win at Arizona.
Left tackle Charlie Johnson left Minnesota's loss to Kansas City with a triceps injury, but coach Leslie Frazier says Johnson will be fine.
Lions safety Amari Spievey, who left the win against the Cowboys with a hamstring injury, is day to day, according to coach Jim Schwartz.
Buffalo LT Demetrius Bell is expected to miss at least a week with an injured right shoulder. Starting middle linebacker Nick Barnett was also hurt in the game and spotted wearing a protective boot on his right foot Monday. Coach Chan Gailey expects Barnett to practice this week. Cornerback Terrence McGee (hamstring) is expected to resume practicing this week after missing the past three games.
Rams wide receiver Danny Amendola will get a second opinion on a dislocated left elbow that's sidelined him since the opener. Coach Steve Spagnuolo said there's still swelling. Tight end Michael Hoomanawanui got his second concussion of the year. And DT Darell Scott will have wrist surgery on Wednesday. There is no timetable for his return.
