Holiday shopping for video game consoles just got less expensive for the Nintendo Wii, originally launched in 2006. The price for this video game console is $129.99 and will be available in most U.S. outlets by October 28, 2012. This specially priced Nintendo Wii package will include the black console color, black nunchuk controller, black Wii Remote Plus controller, and a combined game disc containing the motion-controlled classic games Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort for the first time. The current black Wii console includes the New Super Mario Bros. Wii game.
The next Nintendo game console, the WiiU, is scheduled to release on November 18, 2012. with a white colored base set (8GB internal storage) for $299.99 and a black colored deluxe set (32 GB storage) price of $349.99. This HD gaming system will include the touch-screen Wii U GamePad controller.
