Carolina Panthers TE Jeremy Shockey said one of the factors in him signing with the Panthers was that he has a close relationship with offensive coordinator Rob Chudzinski. Chudzinski was Shockey's tight ends coach during his college career.
Huddle Up: Shockey also recognizes that the Panthers will have a young quarterback who will likely lean on his tight end, and that Carolina is thin on pass-catchers anyway. If he's able to stay healthy he could be a sneaky fantasy producer this season.
